“Katie” was among the first group of Quarter Horse mares I purchased when building my breeding program. I was drawn to her classic, old-style pedigree and was excited about the opportunity to cross her on more modern bloodlines. Unfortunately, I was only able to get one foal from her that I bred myself—Suns Shiny Lil Lady. She truly stamped this filly with her likeness.

We sadly lost Katie to sand colic shortly after Lady’s birth. Following her passing, Playboze Daze (“Dizzy”) stepped in and took over raising the filly.
